Campaign Design
At the beginning of 2019 Trinity Church began making preparations to build a new youth facility. To fund this new building project they planned to launch a capital campaign that would run alongside the construction. The campaign was called “The Next Big Thing”; a slightly tongue-in-cheek reference to the consistency of building projects at the church over the past 20 years. I took the title in stride, and built the marketing campaign around the idea that the building wasn’t the only “next big thing”. I built the brand identity with the intention of making the legitimacy of the project visually understandable: impressively clean, striking, and honest. This showed most clearly through the photos I shot of the youth and children that the facility would ultimately be built to accommodate.
Social Media
In addition to the striking photography, I added a bold, gradient shape that could be used in various ways throughout the campaign. The colors added a youthfulness and vibrance that signaled who the project was all about. Our team produced a number of motion graphics to tease the launch of the first phase of the project.
Print Materials
The campaign ranges across digital spaces as well as multiple, physical locations. Packages were mailed to members of the church to prepare and help them spread the word about the launch of the campaign. Signage was produced for all campuses, with campus specific material, as the project had multiple facets that effected the campuses differently.
Update
The campaign is nearing one year, and has surpassed its first financial goal. Phase two began at the beginning of 2020.
